NIAGARA FALLS, NY. The Niagara Power has now won 3 out of their last 4 games as they defeated the Onondaga Flames tonight by a score of 8-5. Max Adams earned the win tonight and Wyatt Linde collected his second save of the young season with a 1-2-3 ninth inning. After falling behind in the first inning, Niagara was able to overcome the deficit and put up 8 runs on the Flames behind a Two-hit and Two-RBI performance from Josh Surowiec. After being tied at 5-5 in the 7th inning, the Power displayed a perfect example of “small ball” and scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning behind bunt-singles from Derek Penman and Tre Pankratz. Wyatt Linde entered in the ninth and promptly set down the Flames in order.
The Power are host the Hornell Dodgers at Sal Maglie field on Wednesday, June 13 at 10:30AM
