After Brett Lindsay got hit by a pitch, Walsh crossed home to tally the 2nd run for The Power. The streak continued as David Wessells singled to knock in another run. Andre Marchesseault then walked in The Power’s 4th run with two outs.
Genesee then lessened the deficit in the top of the 5th after a walk and a single to hit in the runner. The Power quickly battled back in the bottom of the 6th as David Wessells blasted an RBI triple between left and center field. The Power held this lead until Genesee battled back with a solo home run in the top of the 8th to bring the score to 5-2. The score remained to end the game.
