  • Jun 13, 2018

NIAGARA FALLS, NY. An exciting game for the Niagara Power today as they collected the walk-off win over the Hornell Dodgers on Kid’s Day at Sal Maglie Stadium. Marcus Espinal had the winning hit in the bottom of the 9th inning, scoring Kolby Blanchard from 3rd base. After starter Nathan Hinkley tossed 5.1 innings of 1-run baseball, the Niagara Power got out to a 4-1 lead. Hornell would not go down easy, however, as they eventually took a 6-5 lead in the 8th inning. Down 6-5 in the 9th, Brett Lindsay reached first base to lead it off and the Power Rallied through their order to Espinal, who knocked in Blanchard for the 7-6 win.

The Power return to Sal Maglie on Saturday, June 16th when they play host to the Olean Oilers.
