Game Preview: Game 1 @ Rochester Ridgemen

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - On Friday, June 1, 2018, the long wait for the return of the Niagara Power is no more. The New York Collegiate Baseball League kick off their season tomorrow night as Niagara travels to Rochester to face the Ridgemen, also of the
NYCBL. The matchup between the Power and the Ridgemen will take place at 7 P.M. at Basket Road Field in Webster, New York.

C.J. Gonzales takes the mound for the Power after having a 2-0 record this season with Niagara County Community College. At NCCC in his sophomore season, Gonzales struck out 24 batters in 24.2 innings pitched in 8 appearances for the Thunder Wolves in which he started 4 of those games. His most recent performance was May 21st against Herkimer College.
